On June 30, 2009, Otsuka Chemical Co., Ltd. merged with Otsuka Chemical Holdings Co., Ltd., and, with a subsequent exchange of shares on July 1, 2009, began business anew as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Otsuka Holdings Co., Ltd.
In line with Otsuka Holdings Co., Ltd.’s corporate philosophy?“Otsuka - People creating new products for better health worldwide”?our business is structured around the four key concepts of safety, security, health, and the environment, and includes chemicals and our Oronamin C business. Our goal is to become a highly profitable research and development-focused company, one that, as a manufacturer, also contributes to enriching peoples’ lives and health.
